Eugene F. Mullen

Born in Boston and a graduate of Boston Trade High School, he was the son of the late Martin A. and Catherine (MacLean) Mullen. He lived in Lynn for most of his life.

He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

For 25 years Mr. Mullen worked for the City of Lynn Department of Public Works and retired in 1978.

Eugene was a friend of Bill W.

In addition to his wife, he leaves 4 sons John W. Mullen and his wife Dale of Lynn, Albert F. Mullen and his wife Jacquelynn of Danvers, Martin D. Mullen and his wife Lisa of Jacksonville, FL and Daniel J. Mullen and his wife Karen of St. Augustine, FL, two daughters Jean M. Maitland and her husband Robert of Lynn, and Cathy Lee Nelson and her husband Michael of Derry, NH, a sister Mary D. Curtis and her husband John of West Roxbury, 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Joseph and Donald Mullen.

A funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM.
