Ernest Belitsos

Ernest Constantine Belitsos of Lynn, age 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 21st, 2021. Ernie leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 40 years, Donna M. (Craig) Belitsos. He was the son of the late Constantine Belitsos and Elaine (Papadoyianis) Belitsos.

He was the loving father of sons, Jason and Christian Belitsos of Lynn and his beautiful German Shepherd “queen” Bella, who came to live with us after the death of our beloved Willow; dearest brother of Steven Belitsos of Lynn, Christine and Connie Belitsos of Peabody; and beloved uncle of Vera Kosidis. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and in-laws that loved him so.

He grew up in Lynn Massachusetts, graduated from Lynn English High School. He worked for GE Aviation River Works for many years and had countless friends there that will miss him dearly – he truly loved you all.

Ernie loved family get-togethers, cookouts, was an avid gardener and shared a huge love of “The Who” with his twin brother Steven. He was truly just an all-around great, happy guy with a huge heart; always offering to help. We'll miss his goofy, slapstick humor, Three Stooges pokes and unbelievably corny jokes. Life will truly never be the same without him.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 25th, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St, Lynn.
