Eileen J. Donoghue

Eileen was a lifelong resident of Lynn and a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1949. She studied dancing at Prof. O’Brien School of Dance, and danced professionally for 18 years throughout the country with the Buddy Thomas Dancers as line captain. Eileen also performed a swimming act, “Neptine of the Sea.”

She was a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and parish secretary for 10 years.

Eileen is survived by her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Mary Hickey, Catherine Dysert, Daniel Donoghue, Patrick Donoghue, Frances Gallant and Rosemarie Recker.

Friends and family are invited to attend Eileen’s visitation on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 571 Boston Street, Lynn. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Lynn.
