Besides her devotion to family and her students, Colleen’s passion was the theatre. Wherever she was, Colleen found a way to be involved in the theatre arts. Whether as an actor, director, producer or all of the above, she loved her involvement in the theatre community. In her early years she would produce backyard productions for the other kids in the neighborhood. She went on to act in plays in high school and college. Colleen was the Theatre Director for the Girls Club of Lynn while she was in college. She helped establish a children’s theatre in Columbus, Ohio. Ultimately, she produced and directed many plays and productions while teaching in Los Angeles, New York, and Connecticut.
Colleen will be sorely missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. Her sense of humor and adventurous spirit will remain in our hearts and minds. Not only will she be missed by family and friends, but by the multitude of students and actors who were lucky enough to learn under her direction.
