Beverly Hines

Beverly Ann (Rogers) Hines, 89, of Peabody, formally of Saugus, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 18, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Hines, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. She was born in 1933 to the late George and Theresa (Flynn) Rogers.

Beverly was a lifelong resident of Saugus, graduating from Saugus High School. She went on to further her education, earning her Associate’s Degree. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Bank of New England until her retirement in 1998. Beverly loved candy, especially her chocolates, gardening, traveling, visiting the beach, and spending time with family and friends around the pool.

She was the loving mother to; Karen McGrath, and her husband Paul, Beth Swillum, and her husband David, Joy Cefalo, and her husband Joseph, the grandmother “Nanky” to; Shauna, David, Victoria, Dylan, Amanda, Taylor, Cassidy, Mike, and Meghan, great grandmother to Emma, and aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for Beverly’s Visitation on Friday December 23, 2022, in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park.
