Anne Marie (Bradlee) Cusack, a long-time resident of Lynn, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in the Woodbriar Health Center at the age of 75. Born in Somerville on January 2, 1943, Anne was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Madeline (Lewis) Bradlee. She was raised and educated in Somerville. Anne married her sweetheart, John Cusack in St. Benedict’s Church in Somerville on September 4, 1965. Soon after, the couple settled in Lynn to begin their lives and family together. Anne went on to graduate from North Shore Community College as a registered nurse. She devoted many years to the help of others in need. She was employed for a long time as a nurse with the Hale Hospital in Haverhill until her retirement in the early 2000’s. As her children grew up, Anne was involved as a Den Mother to the Cub Scouts at Sacred Heart Church in Lynn. In her later years, Anne enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of over 51 years, John Cusack of Lynn, Anne leaves her children: Christopher Cusack of Lynn, Kevin Cusack and his wife, Carol of Revere, Mary O’Connor of Wakefield, and her daughter-in-law, Freeda Cusack of Ipswich, her grandchildren: Payton O’Connor of Wakefield, Tyler and Kaylee Cusack, both of Revere, and Sean and Francis Cusack, both of Ipswich, her brothers: Frederick, Francis, and Kevin Bradlee as well as many nieces and nephews. Anne was preceded in death by her son, the late Sean Cusack as well as her brother, the late William Bradlee.
Funeral from the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, on Wednesday, January 17, 2017 at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St. Lynn, at 11am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting Hours will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 3 to 7pm.
