She was the wife of Diane Conlon, with whom she shared 16 years of marriage. Born in Malden, Allison was the daughter of Allison C. (Bullerwell) Deveau, the late Charles F. Jewell and the late Donald F. Deveau.
Allison leaves behind her brothers, Charles Jewell, David Deveau, Ray Deveau, and Steven Jewell and his wife Hilda, sisters Mary-Ellen Deveau, Kathy Sicard, and April Lozzi and her husband Brian, as well as sister-in-law Patricia Tessier and her husband Stephen. In addition to her father and step-father, Allison was predeceased by her sister Maureen Deveau, and brothers Howard Jewell and Benjamin Jewell.
Allison was a hard worker, who took pride in her career, but her true passion was being a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Allison was known to be sensitive and have a big heart – traits that were well-loved by her family. When not caring for her beloved cats or any stray she might come across, she loved the simple things in life, like watching a Patriots game with her wife. She especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, who loved joking with her and spending quality time with her at her beloved camp on Lake Winnipesaukee.
Visiting hours for Allison will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4 – 8pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA 01904. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allison’s name to North Shore Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970.
