Born November 4, 1968 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Preston Nowlin Maddox and the late Eva Miear Maddox.
In addition to his father, Wade is also survived by his step-mother, Naomie Maddox; sisters, Vanessa Harder and husband David, Michele Fletcher and husband Scott; and nephew Collyn Fletcher.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Virginia Memorial Park by the Rev. Mike Dodson and Rev. Glenwood Morgan.
