Obituary of Vivian Christine Grishaw Falwell
Vivian Christine Grishaw Falwell, 71, of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at her residence. She was the wife of William Edward Falwell, Sr. Born August 30, 1950 in Appomattox, she was the daughter of the late Russell Cline Grishaw and Nellie Austin Grishaw and was also preceded in death by a half- brother, Bobby. Vivian was a retired Floral Department Manager with Kroger. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Vivian is survived by two daughters, Christina Campbell and husband Tony of Evington and Marie Duncan and partner Jerri of Birchwood, TN; four step-children, Billie Jo, William, Jr., Mandy, and Stephanie; two grandchildren, Kristie Cummings and Russell Borders and three half-sisters, Oce Mae, Helen, and Katherine. Vivian is also survived by her loyal fur friend, “Moses”. The family will receive friends, Monday, November 15, 2021, from 5-6:30 p.m., at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021 Concord Cemetery.
