Born in Danville, January 23, 1931, he was the son of the late Rev. W.C. Bradley and Annie Gunnell Bradley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Wayne Bradley and one sister, Dorothy Todd.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Pamela Bradley Barker and her husband Vern of Vero Beach, FL; two sisters, Peggy Howerton and husband Wayne and Joanne Yeatts all of Danville; two grandchildren, Benjamin C. Barker and his wife Verena and Sterling Nicole Bradley; three great grandchildren, Bo Riley Barker, Jacoby Lucas Barker and Preston Bradley Milton and his brother-in-law, Ronald Lee Wilson and his wife Mary Elizabeth of SC.
Odell was the retired owner and operator of Bradley Vinyl Supply. He was an avid golfer and had had six holes in one of which he was very proud. He was a master Mason and member of the Roman Eagle Masonic Lodge AF & AM. While in Danville, Odell was a volunteer with the Danville Live Saving Crew. He served as choir director for over thirty years for the Southall Baptist Church in Danville and was a long time member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park in Danville at 2:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
