Tammy Sterne Tyree

Tammy was born in Lynchburg, October 24, 1968. She is survived by two daughters, Brittany Tyree of Lynchburg and Courtney Tyree of Evington; her parents, Glen Edward Sterne and Donna Fore Sterne of Bedford; one brother, Kenneth Earl Sterne, II of Evington; one sister, Kimberly Marie Sterne of Lynchburg; her nieces and nephews, Kenneth E. Sterne, III, Kealey E. Sterne, Alexzandria E. Krantz and Bryton L. Krantz. She is also survived by her boyfriend Ronnie Sherlin of Evington and his daughter Kelsey.

Tammy loved her children with all of her heart and was a loving mother. She will forever be their Angel watching over them. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

A memorial service celebrating Tammy’s life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Jim Whitaker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
