Wayne Steven Cox, age 73, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023.
Born in Lynchburg, December 7, 1950, he was the son of the late Thomas Cox and Lois Layne Stinnett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Broderick Carlton "Ricky" Cox.
Wayne is survived by his daughter, Amanda G. McCarthy; two brothers, Mark Stinnett and Dewey Stinnett and wife Betty and his companion of 38 years, Edith Dixon.
Steven leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy that will endure in the hearts of those who knew him. While there are no services planned, may Steven be remembered fondly and his spirit live on through the memories and love he left behind.
