Ruth Merrell Merrell Sigafoos

Born August 4, 1922 in Quakertown, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Raymond H. and Wilhelmina Buck Merrell. Mrs. Sigafoos was employed by Jersey Central Power and Light Company for many years and served on the Board of Directors of Evangelism Resources and had a special heart for missions. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sigafoos is survived by a son, George Sigafoos and wife Joanne of Chatanooga, TN; a daughter, Ruth Ann Mitchell and husband William of Chalfont, PA and one brother, Clarence Merrell of Flemington, NJ.

Graveside services will be held at Locust Grove Cemetery in Quakertown, NJ under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher, Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017 Heritage Baptist Church in Lynchburg with Dr. Jerry Kroll officiating.
