Born in West Virginia on September 3rd, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Denver and Alma Webb of Lynchburg, Va.
Rose is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mark Morris, her son, Michael Morris, and his wife Ashley; her daughter, Elizabeth Mays and her husband, MAJ Chris Mays; four grandchildren Kayleigh (17), Kyla (17), Landon (10), and Emmilyn (8); her sisters Jane Webb (deceased), Mary Webb, Betty Hampton (Curt, deceased), & Della Webb; her brothers Jim Webb (Bobbie), Bill Webb (Diane), Carl Webb (Donna), & Roger Webb (deceased) and many cousins, nieces & nephews, and friends.
Rose was involved in the Lynchburg community for many years: singing in the Quartet ‘Roses & Sunshine’, the Sweet Adeline’s, sewing costumes and accessories for dance recitals, volunteering as tabulator at speed skating competitions, PTA, and in church.
A memorial service will be held at Whitten Timberlake Chapel on Saturday, September 18th at 4pm.
