She is also preceded in death by 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
Born August 27, 1916 in Gladys, she was the daughter of the late Noland E. and Rosa Pullium Viar. She retired from Central Virginia Training Center and was a member of Christ Church in Gladys.
Alice is survived by her two sons, Harry Lee Gallier, Jr. and wife, Faye of Forest, Lawrence E. Gallier and wife, Betty also of Forest; daughter, Alice Faye Gallier of Lynchburg; special niece, Catherine Mosteller; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Fort Hill Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Jim Moon.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and other times at the residence of Lawrence and Betty Gallier.
