Born October 17, 1951 in Lynchburg, VA, he was the son of the late Nellie Pickeral Crouch and Morgan Ford Crouch, and was also preceded in death by his four brothers, Darrell M. Crouch, Cal Pickering, Gary “Red” Crouch, and Randy D. Crouch and his sister, Diane P. Morcom. Roger was a retired employee of Flower’s Bakery with 28 years of service. He also worked, part-time with Lynchburg Wholesale Florist. He attended Tree of Life Ministries.
Roger was a kind soul who loved his family more than anything. He loved spending every Saturday at his brother-in-law’s restaurant, El Cazador in Bedford, VA, with his friends. Roger also had a special place in his heart for his nephew, Taylor Rodriguez and attended every one of his performances, throughout Virginia.
Roger is survived by his youngest sister, Donna Rodriguez; and brothers-in-law, Hector Rodriguez, and Jerry Morcom; sister-in-law, Cheryl Crouch; nephews, Jeff Morcom, Dustin Crouch and special nephew, Taylor Rodriguez; niece, Tina Barrera; great nieces, Johanna and Josie Barrera, and best friends, Gene White and Eddie Brown.
Visitation will be held from 3-5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor J. Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Lands Cemetery in Bedford County.
