Robert "Bobby" Charles Wooldridge
April 19, 1945 – November 9, 2022

Robert “Bobby” Charles Wooldridge, 77, of Lynchburg, passed away, Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Teresa Robertson Wooldridge for twenty-seven years.
Born April 19, 1945 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Clarence Twyman Wooldridge and the late Frances Coleman Ware. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Faye Hewitt. He was a retired paper maker with Rock-Tenn. While attending E.C. Glass High School, he played football and baseball. Bobby was an avid Washington Redskins fan.
In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by his son, Duane “Scooter” Wooldridge (Larry); daughter, Gina Roby and husband Lance; two step sons, Marshall Martin and wife Sandy and Eric Martin; two sisters, Ann Ruhland and Mary Lambert (Chester) and five grandchildren, Brandon Roby (Natalie), Chase Roby, LeeAnn Martin, Hunter Martin, and Tori Martin. The family would also like to acknowledge Bobby’s caregiver, Patsy Pennix.
A funeral service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 14, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Walter Beasley officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Appomattox.
The family will receive friends, from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
