Robert Clifton Drewry Sr.

Born on August 24, 1930 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Frank and Viola Drewry.

Bob served our country in the United States Marines. He was an avid Washington Redskins football fan.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Frank Carlton Drewry; six sisters; one granddaughter and one great grandson.

Bob is survived by his children, Martha Hall and husband Garry of Lynchburg, Robert Drewry, Jr. of Jacksonville, NC, John Drewry and wife Patricia of Lynchburg, Belinda Bush and husband Donnie of Lynchburg, and Kim Davis of Madison Heights; thirteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; a special niece, Cindy Perkins Butler of St. Petersburg, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.

Military honors will be presented by the American Legion Post 16.
