Born on August 17, 1960 in Lynchburg, VA to Roy Smith and Sally L. Smith.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother, Sally L. Smith; her son, Eric Scott White; and her partner, Donna Overstreet.
Rhonda leaves behind in this life her husband and dear friend, Kenneth E. Maddox of Forest; her beloved daughter, Melissa A. White and her wife Britney of Forest; sisters, Cindy Peterson and husband Bill of Bedford County, Debbie Stephens and husband Steve of Lynchburg, and Janice Shepard of Lynchburg; nephew, Jarrett Byers; nieces, Katie Thaxton, Blair Ford, Kristen Howard, and Blair Bryant. She leaves behind four grandchildren, Chase Campbell, Makaylie Sapp, Seth Howard, and Kimberlynn Bryant.
Rhonda will always be remembered as a great mother, friend and wife, her love of laughter and life, her giving spirit and her ability to make a friend wherever she went.
