She was born on December 5, 1943, daughter of the late John Nelson Meeks and Birdie Maddox Meeks.
She was retired from CVTC and lived to take care of everybody else.
She was the wife of the late Grady Lee Jones for 57 years. She is survived by 3 sons, Samuel (Esther), Brian (Sophia), and Barry. A fourth son Craig, preceded her in death. She was a proud grandmother of 7, Kristie Lauren, Miles Edward, Leigh Anne, Evan Michael, Lindsey Fay, Lacey Dianne, Barry Lee and great grandmother of Sadie and Sawyer. She was the third of ten children and is survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers, LaNeal McPherson, Janie Wilsher, Gail Jung, Brenda Meeks, Sabrina Bowyer, Phillip and Michael Meeks.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
