Born in New York, he was the son of the late Joseph Dannecker and Margaret Dannecker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Bartunek and a brother, Michael Dannecker.
Peter will be remembered for his excellent sense of humor. He loved fishing, puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Dannecker; his children, Tracy Dannecker Madden, Peter Dannecker, Jr. and his wife Danielle; grandchildren, Joseph Madden, James Madden, Dylan Dannecker, Olivia Crumpton, Michael Madden, Benjamin Dannecker and Isabella Dannecker; and two brothers, Joseph Dannecker and Tommy Dannecker.
A celebration of life will be announced shortly.
