Patricia Dawn Condrey Harrup, 46, of Idaho Falls, Idaho and formerly of Lynchburg, returned to join her Heavenly Father Friday, April 4, 2014, following a brief illness. She was the loving and devoted wife of Dr. Mason Kurt Harrup for 23 years.
Born in Lynchburg, April 25, 1967, she was a daughter of Evelyn Nash Condrey of Lynchburg the late Reverend Eugene S. Condrey. Pat was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and worked with the youth. She graduated from William Campbell High School and received a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Virginia. She had a sincere love for teaching children and her home was always open to them.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister Deborah C. Gorman.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Kathryn Elizabeth and Allyson Haley Harrup; and three brothers, Michael Condrey of Rustburg, Richard Condrey of Richmond, and Herbert Condrey of Watertown, N.Y. She is also survived by her Father-in-law, Kurt Harrup and his wife Ann of Lynchburg and her Mother-in-law, Sarah Dobyns and her husband Gary of Concord.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
