Born in Campbell County on May 19, 1941 she was a daughter of the late Ray Mikels and Anna Mikels. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny O’Dell; two brothers, Phillip Mikels and Donald Ray Mikels; and a sister, Phyllis Dawson.
She is survived by two sons, Tim Nash and his wife Ruby of Lynchburg and Terry Wehrly of Missouri; 11 grandchildren, Stephanie, Amy, Kimberly, Mary Beth, Timmy, Renee, Terry Lynn, Titus, Terrence, Frisco, and Darrell; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Mikels Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, November 26, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
