Pamela S. Perry, 55 of Lynchburg, went home to be with her Lord and savior, Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Lynchburg General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She fought a long, hard and courageous battle with her numerous medical conditions for over 14 years.
Pamela was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine S. Seay; her father, Walter Carroll Seay Jr.; and her grandson, Tyler Scott Perry.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, of 34 years, Ronald E. Perry Jr., of Evington; loving daughters, Sonya Heater and husband Shawn of Spout Springs, Jacqueline Page and her husband Thomas of Gretna; devoted mother of 29 years, Lois Seay, of Lynchburg; and loving sister, Sherry O'Shea, of Roanoke; her beloved grandchildren, Dustin, Alexis, Morgan and Emily, along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends she adored and loved.
Pamela was a member of Living Water Baptist Church, in Madison Heights. She devoted her life to serving the Lord and helping others in their time of need. Pamela was a great wife, mother and grandmother. Pamela loved to spoil her husband, her 2 daughters and her 4 grandchildren. Even on her worst day full of pain, she always had a smile. She always gave her best to fight and overcome her medical conditions. Pamela will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Living Water Baptist Church, in Madison Heights, by Pastor Daryl Donald. The family will receive friends at other times at the homes of her daughters.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Wesley Robertson, Jim Schill, Stacy Pedigo, and Stacy Powell, all from Centra Health; Justin Williams, of VA Ambulance Service; and all the members of Altavista Rescue Squad; and Dr. Brandon Peterson, of UVA. These providers have been in Pamela's life for many years and all have become very close friends of Pamela's family. They have all played a very important role in Pamela's care. They always treated Pamela and her family with the highest respect and loved Pamela and her family.
