IN THE CARE OF
Whitten Timberlake Chapel
Beloved daughter, Nikki Imron Long, who departed this life unexpectedly on April 2, was born to Wim & Mary Imron, November 18, 1988. A former resident of Forest, Nikki graduated from Jefferson Forest High School in 2007. She graduated from James Madison University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration. Nikki’s most recent academic accomplishment was receiving her MBA from George Mason University in May, 2015.
In addition to her parents, Nikki is survived by her husband Ryan Long; brothers, Tommy Imron and wife Mindy, of Aldie VA, and Sean Imron of Forest; also her a nephew, Weston, who made her very happy to be an aunt. She also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins residing in Indiana and Indonesia and a host of many friends. She was exceptionally loved and cared for by the Long and Tabaian families.
Growing up in Forest, Nikki was an outstanding swimmer for the Rainbow Forest and Lynchburg YMCA swim teams. She broke many city records, which still stand today. Nikki and her family were committed participants in the Angel’s Race and enjoyed many outdoor activities together.
Nikki has been living in Sterling, Virginia and was employed by Pediatric Specialists of Fairfax as a project manager. Nikki enjoyed her work, frequently making sweet treats for her fellow employees. Nikki developed a passion for yoga. Driven by this passion, she completed training to share this healing art with others. She taught at Core Power Yoga and the East Meets West studios in Northern Virginia.
Nikki also loved sunflowers, the beach, turtles and hula hoops. Our hope is when you see these things in the future, you will think of Nikki and smile. Niki will be deeply missed by many.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, April 7, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, 7404 Timberlake Rd., Lynchburg. There will be a brief visitation at beginning at 11:15.
A luncheon and time of celebration and fellowship will follow at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 21206 Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg. Everyone is invited to the visitation, service, and/or luncheon as schedules allow.
