Born in Bedford County, February 25, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Eldridge McKinney and Lois Cocke Falls.
Nancy is survived by Leonard Witt of Lynchburg; two children, Lisa Charlton and her husband John of Lynchburg and Kenneth Witt and his wife Becky of Bedford; two sisters, Barbara Goodman and her husband Bob of Appomattox and Luanne Garland and her husband Bruce of Lynchburg; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. David Heerspink officiating.
Because Nancy was an avid animal lover, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society, 3305 Naval Reserve St. Lynchburg, VA 24501 or the Concord Rescue Squad, 12605 Richmond Hwy Concord, VA 24538 in lieu of flowers.
