Born in Lynchburg, May 2, 1981, he was the son of the Rev. Steve Morris and the late Billie Crawford Morris. Mike was employed with Cookes Glass Service for over 20 years. He was dedicated to his work and providing for his family. He enjoied riding his motorcycles and his classic Ford Bronco. He was a loving husband, father and son.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by three children, Jonathon Tyler Morris, Jacob Taylor Morris and Emma Kathleen Morris; three brothers, Brandon Morris, Charlie Morris and Travis Morris and wife Kimberly; his mother and father-in-law, Anne & Phillip Mann; his sisters-in-law and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Sonny Wright.
A memorial service celebrating Mike’s life will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel after which the family will receive friends until 6:00 p.m.
