Mary Louise Ashworth Haley,84, of Evington was called home to the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 29th, 2011. She was a faithful member of Campbell Avenue Baptist Church and a retired nurse. She was the widow of John B. Haley, to whom she was married for 52 years.
Born February 20, 1927 Louise was a daughter of the late Samuel Allen and Florence Creasey Ashworth.
She is survived by her son, Larry W. Haley and his wife, Deborah; five grandsons, John, Patrick, Chris, Kevin and David Haley; one sister, Janie Ashworth Epperson and her husband, James, and a special friend, Jim Ellington.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Reed Ness. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her sister, Janie.
