Martha Witt Elliott

Martha Witt Elliott, 70, of Rustburg, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at her home. She was born on May 8, 1950 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Benjamin F. Witt and the late Thelma P. Witt. Martha was a very humble, down to earth lady who loved spending time with her family and never complained. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and was a very artistic person who would do anything for anybody. Her greatest joy in life was the love she had for her husband and daughter. She is survived by her husband, Eddie E. Elliott and a daughter, Heather D. Elliott as well as her fur baby, Grayson. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Derick Hamby officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Drive, Memphis, TN 38105.
