Marjorie Nickerson Martin

Born September 6, 1938 in Bedford County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Augustus and Arra Radford Nickerson and was also preceded in death by eleven siblings. She was retired from the Lynchburg News & Advance.

Mrs. Martin is survived by five children, Regina Wright of Lynchburg, Curtis Lee Nickerson of Forest, W. Samuel Sprouse of Madison Heights, Daniel R. Sprouse and wife Kathy of Rustburg, and James I. Martin, Jr. and wife Eva of Madison Heights; one sister, Gladys McFaden of Lynchburg; sixteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Tony Austin officiating.
