Mrs. Marion Wade Tyree Talley
May 11, 1920 – July 24, 2010

Marion Tyree Wade Talley, 90 of Lynchburg, passed away July 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thurman Carlisle Wade, and her second husband, Henry Edward Talley.
Born May 11, 1920, in Bedford County, she was the daughter of the late Lazarus and Eliza Stinnette Tyree. Mrs. Talley was a member of Mt. Gilead Methodist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Melvin Wade; her daughter, Doris Couch; and two sisters, Louise Arrington, and Gertrude Meadows.
Survivors include 9 children, Bobby Wade and wife Judy, Earl Wade and special friend, Irene Brown, Frank David Wade and wife Judy, Kenneth Wade, Ronnie Wade and wife Betty Jean , Barbara Harman and husband Bruce, Judy Fitzgerald, all of Lynchburg, William Wade and wife Candi, of Evington, and James Wade and wife Martha, of Forest; her sister, Elsie Steadman; two brothers, Lewis Tyree, and Earl McFaden, of Lynchburg; special granddaughter, B.J. DeJarnette, of Goode, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 26, 2010, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, and at other times at her residence, 50 York Drive, in Lynchburg (Locust Garden Mobile Home Park).
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Lynchburg Humane Society, or to the American Cancer Society.
