Marian Estelle Eagle Brooks

She married her beloved husband, Arthur David Brooks in 1949. They shared 39 years together until his death in 1988.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. A member of Thomas Road Baptist Church from 1956 until the Lord called her home on February 10, 2018.

She will be sadly missed but joyfully remembered by her son, Alan David Brooks, her daughter, Carolyn Brooks Edmondson, son-in-law, Allen G. Edmondson, a special grandson, Blake Allen Edmondson and his wife Kristen N. Edmondson, and a great grandson, James Allen Edmondson. She is also survived by her sister, Jean E. Melton. Marian was predeceased by her brothers, Robert S. Eagle, Jr., Roy A. Eagle, and Clarence N. Eagle.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, with Rev. David Heerspink officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 10 am. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
