Lucy Phillips Burns

BURNS – Lucy (nee Phillips) of Lynchburg, VA, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2018 at age 97, born on August 31, 1920 in Buffalo, NY, beloved wife of the late Jack Burns; loving mother of Kathleen (Joseph) Terian, of Sun Lakes, AZ, Barbara (late Roger) Jukich, of Staunton, VA, Jack (Catherine) Burns, of Woodstock, GA. and Daniel (Heidi) Burns, of Gilbert, AZ. Lucy is survived by 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. A private service will be held in Harrisonburg, VA. Memorial donations, in Lucy’s name, may be made to Faith Community Church, 1660 South Main St., Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Whitten Park Ave. Chapel is serving the Burns family.
