Born March 10, 1947, Linda was a devoted individual, and cherished her family and friends openly. With her 25-year tenure as a cook at the Cavalier, she wholeheartedly cared for customers and her coworkers, treating them like her own family. Her well-known “Swear-Jar” raised funds for the Crisis Hotline, showcasing her care for those who were struggling. Linda’s profound love for her Bible and her Lord defined her, and her absence will be deeply felt.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings Doug Neely, Rod Neely; her sister Shirley Hunt; her son Michael Wayne; and her nephew Shane Ragland.
Those left to cherish Linda’s memory include her daughter Darnelle Pugh and her husband Tom; her granddaughter Regina Wriston and husband Mark; her grandson Hank Williams; her great-grandson Jayson Wriston; her nephew Joseph Moseley; her niece Jamie Flack and her husband Jamie; and her sister Helen Moseley and her husband David.
A graveside service for Linda will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 2pm at Spring Hill Cemetery, and officiated by Pastor Larry Fitzgerald.
