Leo Franklin Brooks

Born in Lynchburg, October 17, 1945 he was a son of the late Richard Clarence Brooks and Mary June Litchford Brooks Morris.

He is also preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl McDearmon and two brothers, Tim and Rick Brooks.

Daddy Frank is survived by his daughter, Angela Dawn Brooks Thompson and husband, Alan; sisters, Linda Booth and husband, Larry, Scarlett Davis and husband, Tom; Best friend, Fran Brooks and her partner, Burton Clements; sister-in-laws, Annie and David Dodgion, Judy Brooks and Della Dudley; brother-in-laws, Wayne Dudley and Lewis McDearmon; family friends, Cookie Robertson, Johnny and Holly McFadden; a number of nieces and nephews; and his granddogs, Roxie Marie and Bella Lee.

A funeral service will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. D. Jack Hamilton. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
