Laura M. Pugh

Born in Concord, September 26, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Billy Mahone Moore and Mary Cyrus Moore. She worked for many years at the Cotton Mill in Lynchburg and was a member of Fairview Christian Church.

Although she did not have any children of her own, she took great pride in helping to raise her great nephew, Robert Trujillo who preceded her in death and her great niece Hope Jones of Lynchburg. She is also survived by a sister Hazel M. Edwards and her husband James of Rustburg and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. David Critcher officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
