Larry Phillip Parrish

Born in Johnson County, NC, July 28, 1944, he was the son of the late Logan Parrish and Mary Gladys Hargis Parrish. He was a mechanic and retired from Leonard Tire Co. He loved race cars and drag racing. He was very devoted to his wife and children and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Marie Allen and husband David of Lynchburg, James Parrish and wife Lisa of Gladys and Lisa McDaniel and husband James of Concord; one sister, Donna Toms and husband Danny of Bedford; one brother, David Parrish and his fiancée Toni of Sanford, NC; three granddaughters, Amy Eubank and husband Danny, Ashley Bernard and husband Scott and Elizabeth Parrish and three great grandsons, Chase Eubank, Carson Eubank and Levi Bernard.

A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Pastor Mike Dodson and the Rev. Michael Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Land Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the funeral home.
