Jeanette Faye Lewis

Jeanette Faye "Jan" Lewis, 65, of Lynchburg, passed away Friday, February 08, 2008, at her home. Born March 11, 1942, in Danville, she was a daughter of the late John and Clara West Lewis. She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.Survivors include 6 children, David W. Beasley and wife, Marie, of VA Beach, Bonnie Sue Degaraff, of Lynchburg, Laura Jean Moon and husband, Jimmy, of Saxe, Linda Ann Bugg and husband, Hugh, of Lynchburg, Tammy Lynn Wood and husband, J.C., of Forest and Marjorie Ella Studler, of Lynchburg; a brother, John W. Lewis and wife, Brenda, of Troutville, her former husband, Robert Wayne Beasley; 15 grandchildren, Joshua, Tiffany, Lindsey, Rachael, Curtis, Brandon, Kaley, Justin, Danny, Blake, Ryan, Shane, Jacob, Sean and Sydney; one great-grandchild, Vanessa, and best friend, Morisette Baty, of Lynchburg. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Whitten Timberlake Chapel by the Reverend David Wood. Interment will take place in Moon Family Cemetery, in Charlotte Co. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
