James Edward “Eddie” Webber, Jr., 65, passed away at his home, Saturday, July 28, 2012. He was born June 4, 1947 to the late James E. Webber, Sr. and Bessie Powell Webber.
He grew up in Lynchburg and was an employee of Simplimatic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Preston E. Webber.
He is survived by three children, Betty Jo Dill and her husband William of Madison Heights, Wendy Webber and James E. Webber, III both of Lynchburg; two brothers, Walsie Webber and Donnie Webber of Lynchburg; one sister, Bettie W. Wright of Rustburg; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
