James Wilkerson Rush, 90, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Born on March 12, 1934 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Harrison Stewart Rush and Eva Wilkerson Rush.
He served his country faithfully for 20 years in the United States Navy. After his retirement from the Navy, he worked for the Central Virginia Training Center for almost 20 years before retiring. He is survived by his loving wife, Yoshiko U. Rush.
