Grace Estelle Moore Dudley

Born August 20, 1916 in Prince Edward County, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Fannie Oliver Moore and was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Lee Dudley; a grandson, Jeff Dudley, and three sisters, Bessie Kessler, Irene Doss, and Mildred Robbins. She was retired from the Central Virginia Training Center and was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Mrs. Dudley is survived by one son, James P. Dudley and his wife, Jo of Lynchburg; one brother, John Henry Moore; one sister, Ruby M. Carter; six grandchildren, Paul, David, Stephen, and Chad Dudley, all of Lynchburg, Ricky Dudley of Tampa, FL, and Greg Dudley of Richmond, VA and eleven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with her grandson, Pastor Paul Dudley officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Park.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
