She was born on April 10, 1937 in Jackson, MI, daughter of the late Wayne and Esther Dunham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia, Delores, and Betty.
Gloria was retired from Areva. She was an avid reader, loved spending time with the grandkids, crossword puzzles and going shopping.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathi Evans (Doc Ellis); a son, Steven Lewis (Teresa); four grandchildren, Kristen Evans, Michael Evans (Jennifer), Matt Lewis (Daphne Bowen), and Samantha Lewis (Corey Hricorsky) as well as two great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Norwood Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Stump, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Challenged Sports Exchange, 22174 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
