Born in Lynchburg, Virginia he was a son of the late George W. and Edith Johnson Fulcher Berg.
Mr. Fulcher was a graduate of Lynchburg College, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retired as a Finance Manager with G.E., Ericsson, and SCI, he served as chairman of Campbell County S.A.L.T. Council, was a volunteer at the National D- Day Memorial, and a member of Timberlake Christian Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kristin L. Gray and husband, Brad, Karen B. Archer and husband, Jim; sister, Frances Midkiff and husband, Charles; three grandchildren, Jacob and Christian Gray, Brooke Archer and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Freeman. Interment will follow in Altavista Memorial Park with military honors by American Legion Post #16.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
