She was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 14, 1952, daughter of the late Francis and Virginia Gleason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Kupec, Jr.
Gail was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening, singing, and leading others in worship music. She also enjoyed mentoring young ladies at Liberty University, taking scenic drives, crossword puzzles, and doting on her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Daniel Kupec and wife Kristen; her daughter, Kerri Urbahn and husband Keith; two grandchildren, Joshua and Zoe Kupec; a sister, Susan McElroy and three brothers, Michael Gleason and wife Brenda, Timothy Gleason and wife Liz and Patrick Gleason and wife Joyce.
A service celebrating her life and faith will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October, 19, 2024 in the Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Bullman officiating. Interment will be in New York next week.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 7 pm on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
