Franklin James Chambers Sr.

He was born on February 25, 1963, in Lancaster, PA, to his parents, the late James and Charlotte Stricker Chambers.

Franklin was the loving husband to Carolyn Lynn Chambers for 37 years. He was a dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator in the Communications industry. In his free time, Franklin loved to hunt and fish, play horseshoes, and work on mowers and cars or anything that had a motor or tires. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and was known for his generosity and kindness.

He cherished his family deeply, especially his grandchildren. Franklin is survived by his wife Carolyn, two sons, Franklin Chambers Jr. (Kate Powell) and Sean Chambers, and one daughter, Shannon Chambers (Kenneth Hollingsworth). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dakota Chambers, Easton Kirks, Lakelynn Chambers, Hunter Hollingsworth, Harley Hollingsworth; one brother Tommy Chambers and one sister, Judy Trimble.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Devonshire.

The family is scheduling a private service at a later date. Whitten Timberlake Chapel is assisting the family during this difficult time.

Franklin's legacy of love, hard work, and helpfulness will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
