Frances “Eleanor” Lumpkin Mullins, 81, of Forest, VA., formerly of Palm Harbor, FL, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Runk & Pratt Residential Adult Care in Forest, VA. She was the wife of Norman William Mullins; married over 60 years.
Born November 7, 1941 in St. Pete, FL. She was the daughter of the late Harry Eugene Lumpkin and Mary Elizabeth Davis Lumpkin. Eleanor was a God-honoring loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was also very involved in prayer ministry, Bible Study Fellowship teaching, and supporting missionaries, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Port Richey, FL.
In addition to her husband, Eleanor is survived by two sons, Mark Mullins of San Jose, CA, and Michael Mullins and wife Kimberly Mullins of Forest, VA and four grandchildren, Luke Mullins, Joshua Mullins, Zachary Mullins, and Elle Mullins.
A memorial service, to celebrate Eleanor’s life will be held at 6pm, Thursday, 2/23/23, at Pate Chapel of Thomas Road Baptist Church, Lynchburg, VA. The family will receive friends, prior to the service, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA, and/or the Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Eugene Lumpkin and Mary Elizabeth Davis Lumpkin.
She is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, Norman William Mullins; two sons, Mark Mullins and Michael Mullins and wife Kimberly Mullins and four grandchildren, Luke Mullins, Joshua Mullins, Zachary Mullins, and Elle Mullins.
