Estelle Lloyd Lawhorn

Born February 22, 1925 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Dan and Eva Vest Lloyd. She was a member of First Assembly of God.

Mrs. Lawhorn was also preceded in death by son, Dennis S. Lawhorn; daughter, Shirley Ann Lawhorn, brothers, Dale Lloyd and his wife, Tiny, Lester and Jake Lloyd; sister, Minnie Dalton.

Mrs. Lawhorn is survived by sons, Dudley H. Lawhorn and wife, Norma, Robert W. Lawhorn and wife, Margaret of Rustburg, brother, Herman Lloyd and wife, Kitty of Lynchburg; Jean Edwards and husband, Reuben of Madison Heights, Betty Coggsdale and husband, J.W. of Richmond, Freda Sowers of Lynchburg; sister-in-laws, Louise and Verla Lloyd; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday January 24, at 11:00 a.m. in Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by the Rev. Charles Foshee and Rev. E. Lenn Lloyd. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 23, 2012 at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
