Born February 3, 1942 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Francis Davidson Conner and the late Lois Pleasants Conner. He was retired from American Hoffman and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Conner was an avid fan and supporter of Lynchburg Professional Baseball.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Conner is survived by two children, Daniel C. Conner of Shawnee, KS and his fiancée, Kimberly Hendrix and Allison C. Paris of Richmond; two brothers, Robert L. Conner and wife, Virginia of Bumpass and Dr. Donald E. Conner of Auburn, AL and two sisters, Anna Calvert of Bozeman, MT and Kay Conner of Waynesboro.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
