Born in Roanoke, October 31, 1964, he was the son of Arlette Underwood Wilson of Forest and the late Kenneth D. Wilson. Prior to his illness, Danny was a truck driver and worked for Lawrence Transportation for over 25 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, mowing grass and fishing. He was a member of Norwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Wilson and Kenny Wilson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Wilson; three sisters, Rhonda Epperson and her husband Ronnie, Renea Hight and her husband Rick and Tracie Marshall and her husband David and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 at Norwood Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Stump officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m.
