Clinton William Dudley

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Shirley Dudley; son, Clint Dudley (Dawn); daughter, Susan Elliott (Bill); grandchildren, Holly Mason (Paul), Jennifer Mahaffey (Randy), Cory Nuckols (Michelle), Faith Stanley (Tyler Thompson), and Hunter Elliott; great grandchildren, Noah Mahaffey, Autumn Mahaffey, Kaleigh Mahaffey, Isaac Shackelford, Brylee Shackelford, Anson Mahaffey, and Sophia Rose Nuckols.

He served three years in the Army, 34 years at BWXT, followed by 17 years at Bausch and Lomb. CW was a devoted family man and a friend to many. He loved hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was a devoted charter member of Calvary Baptist Church on Timberlake Road. He served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, RA Leader, and various other committees. CW will always be remembered most fondly for being a great example to all and for his love of telling his stories. He will always be remembered as a gentle soul who absolutely adored his wife, two children, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. with a service starting at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church, 20957 Timberlake Road, Lynchburg, Virginia.
